SITKA BLACK-TAILED DEER

Fall Season  |  Kodiak Island  |  $5,500

In 2012, record amounts of snow and cold killed off a large amount of our deer. Since then though, mild winters have created a boom in the population and we are seeing record numbers of deer. From the beach to the hillsides, we are chasing trophy bucks with our average antler size growing every year. With a 100% success rate in 2016, we spot and stalk on day trips from main camp with the luxury of a warm cabin and meal waiting for us every night.

On average, the deer being taken score between 90 and 100 inches but we expect those numbers to increase. Most of the hunts occur during the deer’s rutting season, making for a lot of action in a short amount of time. Our deer hunts are five days long and require minimum physical requirements.
